MEB-1K5A - 1500 Watt power supplies for medical and industrial applications

Delta Electronics expands its MEB series with 1500 W box power supplies for the industrial and medical sectors. At the beginning of the series, the MEB1K5Axxx offer either 24VDC or 48VDC outputs. A second 5V/2A output for peripheral tasks is also available. They are approved according to EN/IEC/UL62368 (ITE/audio standard) and EN/IEC/UL60601-1-2 4th Edition (medical standard) and feature a wide input voltage range from 90 to 264VAC and an operating temperature range from -20 to +70°C, with the devices operating at full power at up to +50°C.

Other features include included active power distribution in parallel operation, analog (+/-10%) and digital voltage adjustment (PMBus), and a choice of "remote on/off" controllable in both normal and inverted logic. In addition, the MEB-1K5A24/48 has intelligent fan speed control to minimize ambient noise accordingly while still maintaining optimal cooling performance. The devices have an MTBF of up to 500,000 hours and are particularly suitable for use in medical applications with 2 x MOPP isolation requirement; Type BF.
