Photometric Laboratory
Professional light measurement according to CIE

Our lighting laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art light measurement technology in accordance with the latest CIE requirements and offers precise measurements at the highest level. The measuring devices used are specially designed for the photometric measurement of LEDs and enable, among other things, the verification of data sheet values in pulse mode. In addition, LEDs from different manufacturers can be compared objectively. In cooperation with an external partner, we also carry out the measurement of LED modules and complete luminaires – reliably, reproducibly, and practically for your development and quality requirements.
LEDs and UV-LEDs
We offer comprehensive light measurements for LEDs, recording all relevant parameters. Specific measurements can also be evaluated for UV LEDs.
Measured in lumens (lm), it determines the brightness of a light source in three-dimensional space.
Luminous flux / solid angle, measured in candelas (cd), indicates how brightly a light source shines in a specific direction.
x,y coordinates determine the position of the color temperature in the CIE -XYZ color space.
Measurement of LEDs and UV LEDs in the spectral range from 200 nm (UV) to 1,100 nm (IR). The visible light range from 380–780 nm is fully covered.
Measures the number of photons emitted per second that can be used by plants for photosynthesis.
Measures the permeability of a medium for light waves and its reflected light waves.
Color rendering index that describes the quality of color rendering of light sources with the same correlated color temperature.
Spectral software for color measurement, radiometric and effect-related analyses. Display of weighted light distribution across the entire wavelength range.
Luminous flux/area, measured in lux (lx), indicates how brightly an area is illuminated.
CCT/ Measured in Kelvin, reflects the color impression of the light from cool white to warm white.
Additional services for LED modules and luminaires
For LED modules and luminaires, we are expanding our range of services to include additional light measurements, which we carry out in collaboration with selected external partners. This ensures that you receive an even more comprehensive range of services with precise results, the highest quality, and compliance with all relevant standards.
