New PMR series from Delta for high-performance industrial applications

Delta Electronics is expanding its PMR power supply series with the new PMR-1K0W model, which has been specially developed for demanding industrial and commercial applications. With an output power of up to 1,008 W and an efficiency of up to 94%, the device offers a reliable and powerful solution for systems that require high energy density in a compact design.

Like the entire PMR series, the new 1,000-watt version features a low-profile design and, thanks to its 1U form factor, is ideal for installation in enclosed and space-critical control cabinets. Despite its high power output, the device remains compact at only 41 mm in height and maintains its thermal stability even at high ambient temperatures. In addition to its high power density, the PMR-1K0W supports active current sharing, allowing up to four power supplies to be connected in parallel. This enables scalable power reserves, increased reliability, and flexible design options for industrial equipment, robotics, or laser applications.

Particularly noteworthy is the integrated active power factor correction (PFC), which makes the PMR-1K0W compliant with IEC/EN 61000-3-2 Class A, thus ensuring compliance with network interference and EMC limits. The power supply also meets all relevant safety standards, including IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, IEC/EN 60335-1, and IEC/EN 61558. The wide temperature range from -40°C to +70°C, the compliant coating, and the Pollution Degree 3 protection also make the PMR-1K0W ideal for harsh industrial environments. With built-in remote ON/OFF and remote sense functions, the device supports modern Industry 4.0 systems and intelligent control architectures.
