Time-of-flight chip with 160 x 60 pixels

With the epc635 the Swiss semiconductor manufacturer ESPROS Photonics AG has released another Time-of-Flight Sensor. This has a resolution of 160x60 pixels and is also based on BSI's own manufacturing process. This time-of-flight chip is realized in the CSP. A camera module and evaluation kit will be available during the first quarter. The epc635 has even better photoelectric properties than its big brother, the epc660, which has been on the market for some time. The epc660 is distributed by Neumüller Elektronik GmbH, headquartered in Weisendorf, Germany.
