Parallel Operation

The parallel operation is a characteristic of a power supply to be able to be switched in parallel with other, same output voltages. This allows the total power to be increased or redundancy to be achieved.
Not all power supplies are suitable for parallel connection without further ado, often for example decoupling by diodes is necessary.
