AC/DC power supplies according to new IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 standard

Delta Electronics as the world's largest power supply-manufacturer has its successful Open-Frame-Box PMC series in the 600W range extended by the models: PMC-12V600W1BA (12V / 50A) and PMC-48V600W1BA (48V / 12.5A). These are already provided with the new safety approval: IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, which is to be fulfilled from 20.12.2020.

The compact power supplies (LxWxH : 215mm x 120mm x 61mm) are characterized by quiet operation. This is achieved by a load-dependent controlled fan speed. In addition, a fan standstill detection is integrated as a protective function, which operates in latch off mode. Peak powers of up to 200% over 3s and 150% up to 5s. are available. The manufacturer indicates a high MTBF of > 700,000 hrs. according to Telcordia SR-332 I/P: 115Vac & 230Vac, O/P: 100% load, Ta: 25°C. And certifies a great reliability with capacitor lifetimes of 10 years: (115Vac & 230Vac, 50% load @ 40°C)

With these and other features, the PMC-600W types are ideally suited for all types of electric drives where reliability and long service life are important, such as in robotics and capital goods & machine construction.
