OPB9001: Reflective optical sensor module for industrial and medical applications
The OPB9001 PCB module from TT Electronics OPTEK Technology is designed for portability in a variety of position and presence sensing applications and integrates the versatile and programmable OPB9000 reflective sensor, resistors, controllers and capacitors in a single package. With a small form factor of 188mm x 12mm x 5mm it fits into the smallest application space! The module accepts supply voltages from 3.3 V to 30 V and has integrated voltage protection for maximum flexibility and protection.

An integrated industry standard 4-pin Molex connector provides easy connection, while integrated LED indicators show overall status during power-up, output and calibration. The fully featured OPB9001AC features a robust Transient Voltage Suppression Diode (TVS) to protect against damaging voltage spikes and is CE and UL certified for maximum reliability in all environmental conditions. The OPB9001 can also withstand contact discharge of up to 8kV. All analog signal conditions are contained within the OPB9000 integrated IC and PCB assembly of OPB9001. In addition, OPB9001 is easily mounted on PCBs and panels and is equipped with an integrated connector.
The product has been tested to meet high safety, health and environmental requirements in accordance with CE and EMC directives, which provide for increased ESD and EMI immunity.
