Neumüller Elektronik has extended its portfolio with the specially for medical applications developed MDS-300-series from Delta Electronics.

It impresses with an extremely high power density of 14,3 Watt / in³ at a 3 "x 5"-design. In addition to the medical safety approval EN60601-1 3, it also meets the BF patient type requirements and 2xMOPP.

A versatile application, also of a non-medical nature, is achieved by a wide input voltage range from 90 to 264VAC, possible operating temperatures from -10°C to +70°C, a maximum permissible operating height of up to 5.000m and the IT safety approval EN60950.

Only Japanese capacitors are used to achieve an MTBF of 800,000 hours.

Input-side voltage peaks of up to 300VAC for 100ms are no problem for the MDS-300 series. In addition, the MDS series features a low leakage current and a low no-load power consumption of <0.5W.

Other special features are the 5 Volt / 0.5 A standby output, the remote ON / OFF and remote sense functions and the power good signal.
